Some new laws will be taking effect this year 2015, and one of them will be focused on the human treatment of egg laying chickens by farmers. In order to give them a more humane life, Chickens will no longer be confined to cages. This move could affect the price of eggs though. This will also affect other states who ship eggs into California.
