Computer Bots are basically advanced software which now run tasks automatically which humans used to do. For example word processors which have replaced secretaries or software like Quickbooks which can replace accountants. Take the New York Stock Exchange for example, it is now run by bots which trade with brokers. The NYSE floor used to be filled with screaming wall street traders in the old days but that is changing.
